Reporting to the ESL/LINC Program Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible to instruct English as a Second Language to adult learners, from Literacy to CLB 8. There are four locations in Hamilton and courses are offered during the day, evening, and Saturday morning. There is summer school in July and August. Candidates are needed for casual teaching Monday-Friday, evenings and Saturdays.

Metasino (a North American school) is looking for long-term ESL teachers to teach over the internet. Metasino teaches ESL to elementary students in China. We have very small classes and use an informal, whole-language approach.

Applicants should have teaching experience, preferably with children or alternative education.

The job is part-time (beginning with ½ hour per day, to a maximum of 2 or 2.5 hours), early mornings (6AM – 10AM EST) from Monday to Friday. Starting pay is $20CAD per hour.
